I'M A MOVIE AND TELEVISION PRODUCER IN HOLLYWOOD

I'm the originating producer on 1 Network television series, GRIMSBURG (Fox), and 3 Studio movies - PRIEST (Sony), CROOKED ARROWS (Fox), BIO-DOME (MGM) - plus dozens of Hollywood production company deals — all based on scripts I developed with aspiring screenwriters.

Early in my career as a producer, I realized that the high-profile scripts were getting sent from the top literary agencies directly to Hollywood's biggest producers.  Therefore, I had to adopt a different strategy if I wanted to find original scripts to produce.  I began looking for talented amateur screenwriters outside of the Hollywood system in highly-curated environments - script contests, film schools, screenwriting websites, film festivals, etc.  I relied on my good taste to identify great stories, and on my development skills to shape them into professional scripts.  The strategy worked.

As a producer, my business model is discovering scripts by talented aspiring screenwriters.  A wonderful byproduct of my process is that I’m able to help these writers “break-in” to Hollywood — with representation by top literary agents, managers, and entertainment lawyers; with production company script development deals; and with produced studio movies and network television shows.  I’m proud of the fact that for 25 years as a producer I’ve been helping amateur screenwriters turn professional.
